I know the picture isn’t in the same position and it’s not a HUGE difference, but I’m still really proud of those 17 lbs! My goal isn’t to be a size zero. I’m going to keep going until I feel comfortable with myself and happy with my health!

the left is me in oct 2011 at 298 pounds the left is me in july 2012 at 255 pounds. I didn’t start losing weight until january of 2012 and it only took me 5 months to lose 43 pounds! i’ve slacked off for june and july but I am back in the game for the rest of this year and am making it a goal to be in the 230’s by the end of august!!

I’ve lost fifteen pounds (I used to weigh 150, now 135), and it has made a huge difference. In my confidence, self-esteem, opportunity taking, and in my looks (mainly my thighs and stomach). I’d like to lose more fat and tone up, but I’m pretty happy with how I am at the moment. :) I did this in about a month and a half. The picture on the right was taken on a camping trip with my now ex-boyfriend, and after it was taken and I saw it, I realized I could look much better. Thank goodness!

Hi there, I’m Brittany and I’m 17. I am 5’1.I used to weigh 240lbs, and now I am 138 and shrinking :) n the summer of 2010, a blessing in disguise came to me. A severe facial injury left me with a broken jaw and missing teeth, as well as those results leaving me with the inability to chew. It wasn’t healthy a way, but I lost quite a bit of weight from a 3 month liquid diet. However, I realized that it was time to start living right and for myself. I started eating healthy. In November 2010, I joined my school’s wrestling team. I had never wrestled before, let alone done any sort of physical activity. I did not expect for it to become for me what it did. I am now at least half of the size I was at that time, and have lost 100lbs and 10 sizes since then. I am also a reigning provincial champion, award-winning, olympic qualifying wrestler. I also do Jiu Jitsu, MMA and Kung Fu. I realized that being thin is not important. It doesn’t give you more friends, (if it does - they’re fake and you don’t need them) It doesn’t give you permanent confidence, being HEALTHY is what matters. You feel better, you live better, and you see that your body is an incredible machine.
